The 5100 Series offers traditional Bilstein technology with applications for lifted trucks, Jeeps and prerunners. Our 5100 Series shock absorbers are designed for specific manufactured lift kits utilizing the stock O.E.M. mounting configuration. 5100 Series shocks feature Bilstein's superior single tube high gas pressure design for the upmost in consistent fade-free performance and long life. Bilstein's patented Digressive self-adjusting valving delivers improved damping control and a smooth ride on all road surfaces at any speed. Self-Adjusting Deflecting Disc Valving. High-Flow Piston Reduces Harshness. Independent Rebound & Compression Tuning. Larger Working Piston Area for Exact Damping. Superior Control for Large Diameter Tires.

Note # 1 - Long travel 5125 series shock, 465-H8 can be used on TJ 5 & 7 inch stretch kits, and all high clearance rear axle bracket kits.

Note # 2 - Long travel 5125 shocks come with open loop top and bottom. Additional bar pin is needed to work on XJ model. You maybe able to reuse your stock or current bar pin otherwise you can use PN# E4-GV3-Z009A03

Note # 3 – Bisltein front shock A940-H8 and 6457-T5 are identical length and valuing. The 940-H8 has the stock type bar pin, which our high clearance axle bracket kit does NOT use. Use shock 6457-T5 with our high clearance front axle bracket kit on TJ,LJ,XJ,ZJ from 5-8 inches of lift. The 6457-T5 has an open loop bottom and stock type stud top.

E4-GV1-Z044A04 – If you already have Bisltein shock A938 or A940 and need to remove this lower bar pin to work with our high clearance axle bracket kit, please order this part # E4-GV1-Z044A04. You will need to press out the stock bar pin, and insert this new bushing which is an open loop.
